Child Safety Standards
How we prevent, detect and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation on Quedo.
Last updated: 2026-09-12
Our commitment
Quedo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). It is prohibited without exception.
Our Terms of Service, accepted by every person at sign-up, expressly prohibit posting unlawful or sexually explicit content. Breaching them means immediate removal of the content, termination of the account and a report to the competent authorities.
Quedo is an app for organising plans among people who already know each other. It has no public profiles, no messaging with strangers and no people recommendations: content is shared inside closed groups created by their own participants.
Minimum age and verification
Quedo is not directed to children under 14.
At sign-up we ask for a date of birth and apply the minimum digital-consent age of the user's country, which across the European Union ranges from 14 to 16.
The check runs on the server before the account is created, so someone below the minimum age never gains access. An attempt with an under-age date temporarily blocks that phone number, to prevent retrying with a different date.
Features that are not appropriate for minors, such as plan suggestions involving alcohol or nightlife, are filtered on the server and are never shown to accounts below the age of majority.
How to report
Anyone can report content or behaviour from within the app itself:
- Messages, photos and videos: long-press the item and choose "Report".
- People: an account can be reported and blocked from a plan's participant list.
- Public plans: from the map, using the report option on the plan's card.
Reports can also be sent by email, with no account required, to the address below.
What we do with reports
Reported content stops being shown to the person who reported it immediately, without waiting for anyone to review it.
Every report lands in a moderation panel that we review within 24 hours at most. From there we can hide messages and files, take a public plan off the map and suspend accounts.
A public plan that gathers reports from several different people is removed from the map automatically, without waiting for manual review.
An account blocked by someone else cannot reach them again.
Accounts that post child sexual abuse material are permanently suspended, without prior warning and with no path to recovery.
Cooperation with authorities
When we receive a report of, or detect, child sexual abuse material, we preserve the necessary evidence, suspend the account involved and report it to the competent authorities of the relevant country. In Spain, to the State Law Enforcement Agencies.
We respond to any legal request related to the investigation of these matters and comply with the applicable child protection legislation of the countries where the app is available.
